In true Gallery by Chele fashion, the team not just presents, but more appropriately, showcases local produce to possibly the best they can be—duck from Laguna is smoked and turned into ham pastrami, clams from Sorsogon are preserved Spanish-style, fruits like seasonal dalandan is made into jam, others into kombucha. The restaurant is already among the best in the metro—and I’m more than happy to have it take over my household meals and pantry.
Deli by Chele is a game changer! It’s a delicious mix of sustainable local ingredients and delightful flavors that only Chef Chele’s technical culinary expertise can create.
For me, it’s like a party packed in a jar. Absolutely amazing!
When I first saw that beautiful board filled with all the new experiments my eyes lit up with delight as I immediately thought that this was the best way to take a taste of Chef Chele's creativity to my home…There were so many textures and flavours that I got overwhelmed with joy… I also loved the ingenious preserves and jams that utilises humble Philippine ingredients yet in the Chef's hands become like jewels. MABUHAY KA!!!
