Deli by Chele deliciously blends the philosophy and Spanish heritage of Chef Chele González and the value given to local ingredients and innovation by Chef Carlos Villaflor. This new “local” Deli brings artisanal craftmanship mixed with traditional delicatessen.

In true Gallery by Chele fashion, the team not just presents, but more appropriately, showcases local produce to possibly the best they can be—duck from Laguna is smoked and turned into ham pastrami, clams from Sorsogon are preserved Spanish-style, fruits like seasonal dalandan is made into jam, others into kombucha. The restaurant is already among the best in the metro—and I’m more than happy to have it take over my household meals and pantry.
